Well the summer did bring quite a few adventures. One of them was my first trip to Moab, Utah. Around here Moab is about a five hour drive and an easy escape from the mundane. I recommend that if you are driving make sure your vehicle has air conditioning; ours unfortunately did not. It got up past 100 degrees and I found myself taking ice cubes from the cooler and rubbing them anywhere I could. But aside from the heat the trip was so much fun! We stayed at this great lodge called Red Cliffs Lodge which had the best deck with the most fantastic views. Our room was the best I have ever stayed in. We went to Arches National Park and saw things that were awesome! The petroglyphs were very cool to see in person. This inspired me to paint some bottles with these images.
